Tonight I was a stupid head. I bought a $25 gift certificate for a restaurant for only $10, thinking I was getting a killer deal. I didn’t read the fine print that I had to spend at least $35 before the gift certificate would go into effect. But I decided I could live with that. So we went to the restaurant and ordered some of the most expensive things on the menu. Then I noticed the other fine print, that certificate isn’t good on Friday or Saturday. Oh bother. At the end of it all, I decided that I was glad to have spent $50 on dinner. It made me feel like we’re living the high life, and we’re off honeymooning again.
