It’s that time of year again, when I can’t go down the stairs without groaning on behalf of my torn thighs, the result of a 10k race for which I had not adequately trained.

  1. send me a message the next time you’re planning on doing a 5 or 10 k, I’ve been working out a lot and want to start doing some of those but really have no idea how to go about doing so.

  2. Is your question about how to buildup into running or how to register for a race?

  3. Finding races, and registering and all that stuff. I never know they exist until someone is like, “Hey I just ran in this 5k, and I’m like, why didn’t anyone tell me this was happening?”

    1. Well the only one I really run is the Freedom Run every 4th of July in Provo (starts at Kiwanis park), and then I usually don’t even register. The 1 mile, 5k, and 10k all start there, beginning at 7:00 AM.
