Three words: Nordic, Rock, Opera. Vikings, knights, valkyries, Norse mythology, singing dead people, this show’s got it all. In 2017, Steve completed a successful $10,000 Kickstarter campaign for the project. Valhalla | A Nordic Rock Opera was first produced in the style of a live radio show at the Velour in Provo, Utah in 2017. In 2017 and 2018, Stephen and Teresa Gashler put on concerts of the show throughout Utah.
In 2019, it was produced by the Avonlea Theater Company at the Angelus Theatre in Spanish Fork, directed by Matthew Davis. The Watch the Kickstarter video below for an introduction to the project.
