Teresa performed with me at the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival today. So I guess Your Imaginary Friends aren’t dead after all. The problem is we can’t figure out what we are (whether Steve, Teresa, or Steve and Teresa) which makes it hard for us to market ourselves. And the reason that’s a problem is because sometimes, with babies and all, it’s quite difficult to get Teresa at performances. We’re leaning toward abandoning stage names all together and just advertising ourselves for who we are.
I hope to really break into the storytelling market soon. What better way to make a living than getting paid to tell stories?
Many husband wife duos will create a singular name because of that exact problem.
