It was a really fun game night with friends. I made a game to explore ideas for a possible upcoming novel, working title: Gideon Versus the Gods of Cool. The protagonists found themselves in a high school where the intolerance, crowd-following and idiocy of the students were almost supernatural, mainly because they were supernatural, as controlled by the gods of cool, including Fasha, the goddess of fashion, Gangra, the god of teenage angst and attitude, Populus, the god of popularity, Muza, the goddess of popular music, Normalia, the goddess of normality, and Coolar, the chief god of cool. One by one the protagonists defeated the gods in an epic struggle, restoring sanity to their school and saving it from the powers of hell.
