After a full day and a half day of driving over rather hazardous, icy roads, with broken windshield wipers (requiring someone to stick their arm through the window and manually operate them for each wipe), a few peel outs, and many hours of discussion with family about politics, UFO’s, and astro doctrine, we made it home from Texas. For Christmas, while I was generously endowed from both families, the best present I got was a Nerf rifle that holds twelve bullets. Discharging an entire round at my wife has brought to my understanding the meaning of the term “trigger happy”. Though the bullets are made of foam, I consider this beautiful toy my means for personal expression against gun control. The question of good or evil is irrelevant. It’s about power and awesomeness.
