Today Teresa volunteered at a race in Salt Lake City. The girls and I came along to keep her company. We went to a pavilion where people were gathering and partook of the snacks and free face painting. The highlight was when Ariah got to meet a woman dressed up as Cinderella, a real princess! Not until we left the pavilion did it dawn on me that everyone had been wearing a t-shirt that read, “Children’s Tumor Research Foundation” and not the charity we were there to support, which was “Sweatin’ For Sarah”. I felt guilty.
Tonight I hosted an RPG with friends that took place in the time of Noah’s Ark. In the end the ark caught on fire and everyone died except one of the characters, who held onto a floating plank along with Cain.
